Working towards its vision the foundation has initiated a self help group of transgenders and hijras. Under SHG a community parlour – Pahal Beauty Parlour & Training Centre - was opened in 2009. This parlour is managed by the professional beauty experts from the community and caters to the beauty needs of the community. The parlour is first of its kind in India and it has received overwhelming support from the community. The parlour not only addresses the social issues of the community but also works towards economic empowerment of the community. The parlour has also received rave reviews from the media and mainstream society alike.
